African Union debates hindrances to reforms

Addis Ababa, ANGOLA, May 27 - The institutional reforms processo of the African Union (A.U) is being analysed, since Saturday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, at a meeting led by Rwanda and attended by the Committee of Fifteen Foreign Affairs Ministers, of which Angola is a part ,

Angola is being represented in the said gathering by a delegation led by  Foreign minister Manuel Augusto.

 

According to the Angolan ambassador to Ethiopia, Arcanjo do Nascimento, there are some hindrances to the approval of the reforms in the African Union, which need to be tackled and sorted out.

 

ANGOP has learnt that the reform process - which Angola backs -must be approved by the end of the year 2018.

 

The Angolan delegation comprises the Finance minister, Archer Mangueira, and senior staffs of the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
